PIVOT Bed Dimensions
Related information
Notes
- Height measurements exclude any mat solution.
- Our mat solution is 7mm thick/high for hard floors, or 18mm on carpet.
- Measurements for width and length are given as mattress width plus X. If it reads Mattress width plus 100mm / 4” and you have a 1500mm / 59” wide mattress, when you add the two figures together you get: 1500 + 100 = 1600mm (59 + 4 = 63”).
Standard Measurements
-
A: Distance from the wall behind the headboard to the tip of the base unit sides, which remain in place at all times: 1060mm / 42”.
Note the design reaches over any base/skirting-board so ignore these if you have them. - B: Top of the wall mount (so where any wall-mounted headboard is free to start from): 600mm
- C: Power rack uprights outside-to-outside: 1150mm / 45”
-
Storage space under bed: 306mm / 12”
Note the under-bed storage space is non-uniform and this measurement is the most commonly available space. Dumbbells and kettlebells will fit in these areas.

Width Measurements for the bed
- A: Available width within frame for mattress: as per quoted width (e.g. 1500mm / 59”).
- B: Outside-to-outside of the base unit metalwork: mattress width + 189mm / 7.5”.
- C: Total width of the frame at the foot end, at the ‘legs’: mattress width + 77mm / 3”.

Length measurements
-
A: Available length within frame for mattress: as per quoted length (e.g. 2000mm / 79”)
Note: mattresses 50mm / 2” longer will fit without issue as they compress when kept upright. E.g. US queen. - B: Rear wall to foot of bed when horizontal: mattress length + 159mm / 6.3”.

Height Measurements
- A: Maximum height of pull-up bar (no extensions): mattress length + 50mm / 2”.
- B: Height of bed and power rack uprights (no extensions): mattress length + 115mm / 4.5”.
- Max height of extended pull-up bar (with extensions accessory): mattress length + 600mm / 24”.

Mat measurements
The PIVOT Multi-layer Exercise Mat has two layers if placed on carpet and one if placed on a hard floor. You should add the thicknesses together for the layers suitable for your flooring.
- Thickness of top layer (natural latex rubber): 7mm / 0.28”
- Thickness of plywood layer: 11mm / 0.43”
- Area of plywood layer: 2150x1800mm / 85x71”
-
Area of rubber layer: 2230x1980mm / 88x78”
This creates a natural and small step/ramp where the rubber overlaps the plywood layer. No step/ramp on hard floors as the plywood layer is not present.
Note: US King bed is wider than the regular mat so we include two additional interlocking tiles which add 300mm / 12” to the width. Length is unchanged.
