Our purpose

To help you achieve your fitness goals at home, whatever your space. We're an independent, British, privately owned company. We design, test, manufacture and ship our products from the United Kingdom. Having our factory nearby means we can be agile and as such our products will constantly improve. Everything we design and manufacture has been made to help you train at home effectively.

Passion

Passion generates excitement for what we do and how we do it. With passion at the core of everything we do, we nurture ideas, inspire excellence, and find creative ways to eliminate obstacles to cultivating growth.

Doing the right thing

Integrity is the foundation for everything we do, and we are committed to honesty, trust, and transparency. We always strive to do the right thing — even when no one is watching.

Safety and testing

Your safety is our priority and it's for that reason we invested, from the beginning, in developing our own computer-controlled testing device. As a result we know our products surpass the rigorous British Standard (BS EN ISO 20957-1 Stationary Training Equipment), and we don't just assume it. That means we can simulate a 130kg/287lbs person performing the necessary 12,000 pull-ups or dips every time we make a small change, or place a static load of 750kg/1654lbs on our power rack.

Stronger united

We’ve created a positive and inclusive culture that fosters open, honest, and meaningful relationships. We celebrate and embrace our diversity, finding ways for everyone to belong. We invest in each other and we win and learn as a team.

Eco-friendly from the get-go

PIVOT is proud to announce its partnership with Ribble Packaging, the UK's leading manufacturer of 100% recycled and recyclable fanfold cardboard.

Ribble is the nation's sole distributor of the Panotec machine, one of which PIVOT has procured to produce all of its packaging needs.

Panotec packaging solutions produce custom, right-size boxes on demand to eliminate the use of plastic and excess packaging.

Innovation

Innovation motivates action: to take risks, encourage curiosity and new ideas, learn from mistakes, and constantly strive to exceed expectations. Through innovation, we generate solutions for our customers and raise the bar — both within our workplace and throughout our industry.

Founder and CEO

Prior to founding PIVOT, Colin spent 25 years delivering software projects for Clifford Chance, OpenTable, and McKinsey & Company. His last nine years were in various tech roles at McKinsey Digital from hands-on coding to CTO-level positions for client startups. These startups were formed by some of the world's largest and most prestigious banks and corporations. Digital startup incubation and startup accelerators have been his main areas of expertise in recent years.
An avid sports and fitness enthusiast, he still plays cricket every summer and his passion for mountain biking has driven him to traverse the saw-toothed jagged peaks of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and cycle through some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery along the West Highland Way. For longer and more arduous feats on two wheels, Col cycled the entire length of South America with his younger brother and a close friend in 2007. A decade later, he would embark on a similar journey with his wife, and co-founder, Patricia: a road trip from London, all the way down to Cape Town, South Africa, in an expedition-prepared 80 Series Land Cruiser.
