Our regular flooring option is a fantastic fit for PIVOT, discreetly fitting around the shape of the bed when it's horizontal, and giving a great space to work out when the bed is vertical.

If you'd like a larger area covered by high-end rubber matting, potentially your entire room, we can help via our premium flooring partner, PaviFlex, and their international distributors. Normally they only deal with commercial gyms, but we have a unique agreement with them.

Their standard products are square interlocking tiles, meaning they can be fitted together and the overall area expanded infinitely. Normally you'll only find their products in high-end commercial gyms around the world, but we've partnered with them to provide their products to the home market. If you want the best flooring possible, Paviflex is your only solution.

Most fitness mats are made from synthetic rubber compounds (generally from fossil fuels), and they all have a strong smell – they are not suitable for the home and can be quite unhealthy due to the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) they produce. 

We also don't recommend foam-based flooring as it doesn't provide the stable footing required for strength training. The cells in the foam can also burst under prolonged heavy weights and this will create an unsightly mess, not to mention an uneven floor.

Due to PaviFlex' varying regional pricing (mainly based on shipping differences) and a range of international distributors for PaviFlex products, we must deal with each request separately. For our packages which contain our regular mat, we will provide a price which takes this into consideration – you won't have to pay twice. For this reason, please let us know what you would like to purchase in total when you get in touch regarding this flooring upgrade.
